Snowy Engagement Photos | Casper Mountain | Charliy & Amber

With every session I have this time of year, I never know when the weather will decide to finally transition out of our frosty winter and make it’s way into spring. But if Charliy and Amber’s engagement ends up being my last winter session for the year, I would totally be okay with that, because this is how you go out with a bang!

We met at Bear Trap Meadow, with the tall pines and the white mountain scenery it was perfect for a winter engagement session. When we started out across the snow, all seemed fine. Until I took one unfortunate step into very deep snow that had started to thaw from underneath, and I found myself up to my knees struggling to get out. We realized very quickly, this might turn into the workout of the year.

But these ladies were such good sports, and laughed with me the whole time we struggled across the meadow. Because when two people are so crazy in love (Queue Beyonce!) Everything goes so smooth, even in not so ideal conditions, like outrageously deep snow.

Charliy proposed first. When Amber’s flight arrived she was waiting at the airport, ring in hand, so ready to start a beautiful life with her soul mate. Then Amber proposed on Casper Mountain, overlooking the city they had started their engagement, just as ready to write their forever love story.

Amber and Charliy, I am so thrilled to be a part of this beautiful time in your lives. Thank you both so much for trudging all over Casper Mountain with me this weekend! I cannot wait for your wedding!!!
